Mother Wild

Mistress to all, mother of beasts
We worship your body
Goddess of nourishment
We tell your tale
To settle our passions
And bring us to harvest

When the world was young
When the old Gods still ruled
Old Mistress of Sea and Master of Earth
They sowed a great seed

Promise of hope, babe of the blossoms
Your mother's belly swelled with your life
First child
Your birth was the Spring

Beautiful girl
Your parents they loved you
With tenderest care they attended your needs
But willful fawn you soon grew too curious

Whimsical maiden
Amorous creature
You fled to the hills
Alone in the night
You played in bare fields

With fingers of magic and childlike wonder
You tilled the fresh soil
With eager delight you gave care to the land
Where ever you touched soon grew the flowers

With newest of treasures you set forth in the world
Little explorer you roved and you dawdled
You sought out dark caves and climbed tallest mountains

Powerful girl you grew as you wandered
Wild young woman you sought out dark places
Queen of all witches you found the Dark Daughter

Growing young sorceresses you twined like the snakes
Lovers so strange together you worked
Slither and crawl, titter and creep
Your children of damp and children of dark gave life to the soil

Sacred pair your bodies
Your hands
Swirling and mixing
Rebellious and free
Mischievous imps you plunged into deeps
Mothers of art you discovered the gems

Selfish young woman, careless fiend, spirit of wild
You hoarded their wealth
Capricious nymph you left her in tears
With callous abandon you fled to the surface

Powers arcane you took from their essence
With mind and with body you gave birth to the colors
Child of pleasure with wonders anew you set forth once more

Wherever you went so to came resplendence
You came and you went with patterns unknown
Painting the world with fickle delight

Wily young artist
The envy of all
With each of your works you attracted a host

Seductress Supreme you courted their passions
Mistress of gods you toyed with their hearts
You excited their loins and stirred in their bosoms
But never to one could your body be given

Matron of healing
Sister of sight
You saw them completely as naked as birth
With sensual crafts you summoned their glory
With care and devotion you honored their forms

Over and over they gave praise to your body
Over and over you freed them from pain
Again and again you tasted their spirits
Again and again they planted their love

Body to body
Passion to passion
Mind and soul
They filled you with warmth

Crafted together in carnal pursuits
Your love with the Sky brought trees to the land
Your love with the Light brought beasts to the woods
From each union
Each pleasure
And every delight
Sprang forth a new blessing, a new life

Wild Temptress, budding mother
The slope of your curves
The swell of your stomach brought fruit again and again
Empress of sex you gave birth to the wild

But alas came the Fall when she slew her Bright Father
You cried with your kin and crying together your sobs became rain
Cold and impenetrable the winter came fast
Your art and your children withered and died

You went to her fortress
You pleaded your case
Amused and indifferent she mocked and dismissed

Stranger to hell you would not go,
Mother of all you fought for your children
You begged and you threatened but to no avail
You labored and labored
Until a deal was struck
You offered your body to death itself

Bare as the bark he stripped you of splendor
Bound and blinded you were brought to his throne
Deep in the under in places unknown
Unspeakable rites he performed on your flesh
But bled and broken you still could not die
And in the deal your hope still lie

Enchantments of love older than time
A blanket of white to cover your children
The promise of life you gave to the world

Your bargain fulfilled you blossomed once more
Raised and transformed, ice to water
Greater than ever you dawned finest garments
Reborn daughter you seeded the world
Witch of the rites you conjured grand gardens

Drunk with new purpose you tended the lands
Sorceress of lust you possessed the world
You moved all to love and create anew
Goddess of meaning you incited an orgy
Pleasure to all and new harvest to raise
Abundance of thought and chances unknown

Queen of life, Lady indulgence, Shaman of travel, Muse of the arts
You'll come again
Mistress of gods
We offer our bodies, take from our beauty
Show us great majesty and Impregnate our souls
Mother Wild teach us your ways
So we might live and give love to the world again and again

Sweet Nite

Dark Daughter

Dark daughter, Dark daughter

We sing to your fires

Poor daughter

Your mother she bore you

Poor daughter

She died with your birth

Child of one, sister of none

Your father despised you

In shackles of white

Was your prison disguised

Sweet girl you wanted to play

But an omen of ill were you

To all of your kin

No boy nor girl

Could ever like you

Father of light

You filled her with fright

Father of light

Could you hear her spite?

Bright father, bright father

Wherever you went so to went the day

And wherever you left that was the night

Cold night, black night

Blanket of freedom

You gave love to a maid

Sweet daughter

Dark darling

What dreams did you have?

Proud father, proud father

You found her in shame

Poor daughter, poor daughter

You are to blame

For all the bad things

He ever did say

The pain of his brilliance

Scarred in your flesh

The truth that you knew

Deep down in your bones

Daughter?

No daughter

No daughter of his

Shattered and small he left you to die

Alone in deep nothing you stayed

But in your stay you grew

Proud father brought days

But never to you

Wonders unknown, magics taboo, and mysteries unfound

all unfolded to you

But no secrets, no power, no wisdom

ever undid the disgrace on your soul

Weaver of spells, Queen of dreams

Your life in abyss gave birth to your might

Proud father, fool father

Your light couldn’t see

Fool father, poor thing

You thought yourself king

Dark daughter, mother of slaughter

You created the rain

Dark mother, merciful queen

You gave shade to the earth

Powerful Father

She came to your throne

Her magic unbound

By Vicious blood spite

Strong Father she overpowered your light

Weak Daughter you finally won the fight

Mad Daughter, hard woman

You carved out his heart

Mad daughter, cruel monste

You bathed in his light

Dark Daughter you fled with your prize

Dark Daughter you frosted the harvest

Alone with his light you

You mastered his magic

Kin of light you grieved your poor king

Vengeful cousins you marched to the night

With powerful tools well in your grasp

Heirs of the light you cast spears at the night

Beautiful warriors your cries became thunder

But Murderous child she took to the field

Queen of blood she slaughtered them all

Slain warriors, sad corpses your blood became stars

Dark daughter, Dark daughter you painted a mural

Queen Night, slayer of day

Your conquests unrivaled

Brought Death to the world

Wise Sage

Divine death

You admired her art

Lord true of a thing, darker than dark

You gave peace to her heart

Killer of all you wedded a queen

Divine family you huddled in fear

Children of chaos you bargained with death

Wise master, wise master you heeded their pleas

Dark daughter, dark daughter

You respected his counsel

Dark Kin, keepers unknown

You struck a new deal

All heirs of the light you know your true master

All heirs of the light sing songs to our death

Dark daughter, Dark Daughter Queen of Death

Your kingdom reigns

Dark daughter you usurped your father

Dark Daughter, sister night, mother of red

See our quiet lights and hidden deeds

We heed your rites

Speak now to our blood

And give grace to our black desires

That we may meet you in faithful cold dying
